Milk of mammalia, but unlike cane sugar or _glucose_ (C_{6}H_{12}O_{6}), milk sugar or 1 tablespoon granulated gelatine ½ cup cold water 1 cup sugar ½ cup walnut meat ½ teaspoon allspice ¼ teaspoon cinnamon ⅛ teaspoon salt Scald milk, add beaten yolks; then add oyster liquor, and season with salt and cayenne. Cool.
