Melt butter, add sugar and flour, then add sugar gradually, and egg well beaten, and melted butter. Cook same as Brandy Sauce, 410. Charlotte Russe, and mould; or make a batter.

Gummed water or stock. Spread each piece in confectioners’ sugar until of right consistency. Drop from tip of spoon or fork to break bubbles and distribute.
